Give instructions for one more round of health survey, request to avail health services of Dhanvantari mobile units

Vadodara district Collector Shalini Agarwal reviewed the preparedness of Covid and monsoon in the talukas through video conference on Friday. She instructed to conduct health survey in the district once again as part of preventive measure. She urged to monitor the performance of the Dhanvantari health units allotted in 8 talukas of the district and also to take care about the people avail the benefits of its health services.

She instruct to ensure the distribution of homeopathic and ayurvedic medicines and the dosage of HCQ. She recommended adequate preparedness and pre-preparation for the arrangement of the proposed shelter home for the monsoon, as well as to ensure that appropriate facilities are available to the people undergoing treatment at the Covid Care Center.

She consulted with provincial officials, Mamlatdars, Taluka Development Officers and Taluka Health Officers on strategies for safe rescue and relief planning in the event of floods and heavy rains in between Covid 19.

In addition she give instructions about taking precaution against waterborne and parasitic diseases, take special care of the health of the elderly, children, pregnant women and people with co-morbidity.

During the meeting the focus is on arrangement of separate shelters for covid and non-covid, providing special kits so that rescue forces including NDRF can carry out rescue and relief work without infection, sanitation of equipment including boats, continuous operational control room, vigilance to report any incident to the district without delay and others. She instructed to conduct intensive health survey in the rural areas of the district once again in different phases. District Development Officer as well as the Chief District Health Officer provided guidance to the taluka bodies during the online dialogue.
