Vadodara city is observing total lockdown for 21 days in view of Coronavirus. However the situation proves to be miserable for the animals as there is no one on roads to care for them. Is such situation Vadodara police comes to the rescue and taking care of them along with maintaining the law and order situation in the city.

In normal days people were seen feeding the animals in popular spots like Sursagar, Kamatibaug, Gandhinagar Gruh, Nyaymandir, Chakli circle and other areas. But after the total lockdown there is no one to feed them and their condition becomes miserable.

Taking it as their responsibility Vadodara police comes the rescue of such animals and provide them food while maintaining the law and order situation in the city. The teams also feed the cows with green fodder and also provide it to the owners wherever there is shortage.

It is worth to be mentioned that everyone tries to tarnish the image of the police. But in such challenging situations the teams not only performed their duties but also shows their humanitarian side and takes care of the animals. Such act gives everyone a reason to salute them for their efforts to maintain peace, harmony in the city.
