    Five employees died in the blast occurred inside Aims Oxygen company near Gawasad village at Padra. Fire bridge reached the spot and shifted the injured to the private hospital in Vadodara. The impact of the blast was such that it was heard inside the 3 kilometers area. The bodies of the deceased are taken to Vadu primary health centre by the medical teams.

    The company situated near Gawasad village is engaged in refilling Oxygen cylinders using in industries and hospitals. Around 10:00 am morning on Saturday a fire speed inside the company and later a blast occured resulting in deaths of five employees working inside. 15 others got injured in the incident and shifted to the nearby hospital.

    The blast was said to be happened due to Hydrogen and Nitrogen cylinders and the ceiling of the company was damaged due to the impact. The sound of the blast was heard inside the three kilometers area including the nearby Gawasad village.

    Padra and Vadu police reached the spot and further investigating in the case. MLA Jaspalsinh Thakor also reached the spot to review the situation. The villagers also reached the spot and demand compensation of the families of the deceased and injured employees of the company.
