Vadodara based Billabong High Students share happiness this Christmas with Aanganwaadi Kids

Billabong High International School (BHIS) Vadodara’s
students celebrated Christmas with great fervour by making the day special for
Aanganwaadi Kids. To mark the occasion, kids were involved in various
activities like art and games.
The day witnessed a knowledge sharing and celebration
session for the Aanganwaadi students Around 50 BHIS students visited
Aanganwaadi and spent an entire day with them. BHIS students dressed up as
Santa and started their day with singing carols with the Aanganwaadi Kids. BHIS
students gifted stationary items, chocolates, pastries to them. The sessions
involved sandwich making and serving, games, and storytelling through puppets
show. The students presented a skit and dance performance for the Aangawaadi kids.
Lauding the initiative, Dr. Priti Shrimal, Principal
Billabong said, “Celebrations bring people closer and infuse a sense of
community into the children. We are extremely proud of the effort our kids and
their teachers have put into making this holiday season special for the
underprivileged children. Donating material things is much easier than spending
time in caring and sharing. Such steps go a long way in creating a heathy and
happy society.”
