Vadodara also celebrate the historic occasion of Bhoomi Poojan of Ram temple at Ayodhya on August 5. A big photo of Ramlala will be placed at a 20 foot high chair at Bhayli village on the same day to mark the occasion.

Arvindbhai Patel, a farmer of Bhayali village adjoining Vadodara, has made the country’s largest chair for the ocassion. He used one and half thousand kilos of steel to prepare the 20 foot high chair.

“After the lockdown was announced we have no option but to sit a home. Suddenly an idea stuck in my mind to utilize the time and I decide to prepare the big chair. I had some steel at my place and the rest I purchase from the market. After searching on the net I decide to make the 20 feet high chair and after nearly one months of hard work we finally created the biggest chair of the country,” said Patel.

He said now they are waiting for the historic occasion when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony of Ram temple at Ayodhya. On the same day on 5th August here they will place a big picture of Ramlala and be a part of the historic occasion.
