Vadodara all set for the elections on 14th December

The election commission is all set for the second phase of voting on 14th December Thursday. All the EVM reached their respective locations along with the polling staff. The district election officer and collector P. Bharathi said they are all set for the elections and hopeful for a good turnout of voters on Thursday.

She said they have identified 893 critical polling booths and 91 vulnerable. 58 paramilitary forces are there for the security arrangements at the booths. For extra caution 101 micro observers, 100 videographers and 140 web live casting is there.

Total voters are more than 23 lakhs with 2443 total number of booths. 10,000 polling staff on duty along with voter assistants at every booth. This time 10 Mahila polling station is there and special arrangements of wheelchairs are there for the divyangs.

The administration for the past one month or so organised various awareness programmes regarding voting and they are hopeful for a good turnout on 14th December.
