Vadodara advocates organize cricket tournament

900 advocates from Vadodara city and district will be seen holding cricket bat and ball instead of their routine pen and papers. The Lawyers Friends Association for the second straight year organise 10-10 overs cricket tournament in Vadodara where 59 teams of men and women lawyers will take part.

The matches will be played on knock out basis at the polo ground on three turfs where every day 18 matches will be played. Total 52 male and seven female teams will take part which equals 900 advocates in the cricket tournament.

The matches will start from 11th February and continues the next day. On 19th semifinal matches will be played with the women lawyers matches will be played on 25th February. The finals will be played on 26th February at Alembic F.P. colony.

Winner cup, Runners cup, Group Champion, Man of the Match, Best player of the tournament, Best batsman, Best bowler trophies and prizes will be given after the tournament.
