Vadodara administration to start Covid health centre inside central jail

Decision taken after cases coming out from the jail

Day by day Coronavirus is spreading almost everywhere in Vadodara and cases are coming out from new areas. After the cases from central jail the administration decides to start Covid health centre inside the compound.

With increasing cases in city the administration is taking every measure to contain the transmission. OSD Dr. Vinod Rao on Monday visited Central Jail and discussed the measures with the authorities on how to contain the risk of transmission.

He informed, they have decided to start an 80 Bed COVID Health Centre in Jail Compound. There is an MD, MS and 4 MBBS Doctors here attached fulltime to Central Jail. SSG Hospital will handhold this facility. This COVID Health Centre in Jail premise will be ready by this Saturday.
