Vadodara ACB team seized phased out currency from locker of VUDA CEO Wife

Earlier caught VUDA CEO N.C. Shah and Junior Town Planning clerk Shailesh Patel for taking bribe

Fifteen days ago Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught VUDA CEO N.C. Shah and Junior Town Planning clerk Shailesh Patel for taking bribe of 1.25lakhs. Investigating in the same matter the team checked the bank lockers of his wife Nirjarini Shah and found 11.21 lakhs of old currency phased out by the government.

On 4th June 2019 the ACB team laid a trap and caught VUDA CEO Nilesh Chandrakant Shah and Shailesh Patel for taking the bribe of 1.25lakhs from a architect. At that time the team searched his house on Anand Bakrol road and found 12.15lakhs cash and sealed the bank lockers of him and wife.

The team searched the Corporation bank locker of his wife Nirjarini Shah at Vallabh Vidyanagar and found 500 and 1000 rupees of phased out currency from there. Further investigation is on in the matter by the ACB team.
