An unidentified person has been caught on CCTV stealing patient’s belongings at the Covid Center on the fourth floor of Gotri Hospital in Vadodara. The nodal officer of the hospital, Dr. Sheetal Mistry has lodged a complaint at the Gotri police station.
Corona cases the increasing every day in Vadodara and hospitals are taking every possible care to treat them. Meanwhile in between theft incidents of wallets and mobiles came to light from Covid hospitals. Recently a similar incident came to light from Gotri Covid hospital which has caused panic among patients. It was then suspected that one of the fourth class employees of Gotri Hospital had committed the theft, but this suspicion proved to be wrong.
While checking the CCTV, one man was caught stealing patient’s belongings from Corona ward without wearing a PPE kit in the Covid Center of Gotri Hospital. Dr. Sheetal Mistry, nodal officer of Covid Center, has lodged a complaint with the Gotri police station on the basis of CCTV footage.
It is to be mentioned here that earlier, there was incidents about theft of mobile, purse full of cash of the patients. But a serious question has also arisen about the person caught in the CCTV roam inside the ward without wearing any PPE kit and infected how many people after gone out from the hospital.
