United Kingdom-UK’s commonwealth parliament members today paid courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today here in Gandhinagar. This delegation has come to Gujarat with a view to develop association, best practices sharing and advance parliament practices with other member countries of commonwealth.CommonwealthLeading MP of Delegation Mr. Eleanor Laing expressed feel of influenced from Gujarat’s garment, diamond process, urban development and best infrastructural facilities. Rupani briefed them about progress of state with the help of people. Development agenda has been continued since the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure.

Rupani also expressed gratitude for partnership of UK in recently concluded Vibrant Gujarat 2017 and also desired to make more strong relations mutually.Commonwealth

This Delegation invited Rupani to UK and to elaborate the growth story of Gujarat to the Gujarati people staying there.

On the occasion, Chief Principal Secretary to CM K. Kailashnathan, Chief Secretary In-charge P.K. Taneja, UK’s Lord Navnit Dholakiya, Nottingham MP Chris Leslie, Wreksham MP Ian Lukas and Deputy Executive Helen Heywood were also remained present.
