Tyre Companies will import more rubber due to shortage of rubber in India this year

Tyre companies will now import more rubber due to shortage of rubber supply in India.

Last year in India total production of natural rubber was 5.62 lac ton. It was the lowest production since last 10 years. Where imports were reached on record high of 4.58 lac tone.

Prices of rubber in domestic market is about 144 Rs/kg. Which is Rs. 15 high from rate of international market.
