Victim was on the way to clear the bill after her mother died in the hospital during treatment

Two youths robbed a person near Raopura police station in Vadodara on Tuesday. The accused threatened him with knife and rob him of 21,600 which the victim withdraw to clear the bill after her mother died in the hospital during treatment. Raopura police further investigating in the case.

Shankarsinh Ramsinh Thakor lives in Ramniwas building on Rajmahal road and works in Sardarbaug swimming pool run by the corporation. Two days ago her 80 years old mother recieved burn injuries at home while lighting the lamp. She was taken to private hospital at the Kothi area and died during treatment.

Shankarsinh Thakor visited home and collected 14,600 cash and was on his way to the hospital early morning to clear the medical bills. Meanwhile two unknown youths followed him and asked him about SSG hospital in Hindi. Shankar stopped and as he was guiding them one of the youth get down as switch off the ignition of his bike.

Shankar grew suspicious and speeding towards Anandbaug but lost his balance and fell down. The youths followed him showed knife and robbed him of cash, gold ring and mobile worth 26,600 and fled from the spot.

Two youths robbed a person near Raopura police station in Vadodara Shankar Thakor immediately called the police control room and police reached the spot and done the Nakabandi to reach the accused. Raopura police further investigating in the matter.
