Retrieved bodies of two girls

Two teams of 6 NDRF from Vadodara comprising 70 personnel engaged in the rescue work after a boat capsized in the Narmada river in Nandurbar. The teams used hightech equipments to search the area and retrieved two bodies from the site.

On Tuesday a boat capsized in Narmada river near Bhusa under village Dhadgaon Tehsil Yakrani in Nandurbar killing around six persons. Two teams of the unit departed from 6 NDRF camp at Jarod Vadodara in the evening on 15/01/19 and reached incident site at early morning on 0315 hrs on 16/01/19.

Carrying the all water rescue equipments like deep diving sets, Sonar System, water communication set, high speed boats the team rushed to the accident site and began the operation under close supervision of R S Joon, Commandant 6 NDRF.

The team retrieved the bodies of two girls namely Monika Veer Singh Pawar 6 and Seemar Pawar 4yrs was retrieved by the NDRF teams. The operation started from since morning and the team recovered the dead bodies after applying the hightech and state of art equipments.
