Two groups clashed over a matter of teasing a girl
Two groups clashed in Vadu village in Padra over a matter of eve teasing of a girl. The people create ruckus in the police station after they accused them for not taking the complaint. On Thursday the villagers called for total bandh in the area and before the matter went out of their hands the police arrested one of the accused and help control the situation.
As per the details based on the complaint given in the police station three youths from minor community Arif Hasan Kadiwala, Hamid Chauhan and Tofiq Usman Chauhan eve tease a girl from upper caste living in Vadu village for some days. On Wednesday while the girl was returning home from the school Arif hold her hand and eve teased.
The girl then narrates the whole thing to her family and in a fit of anger they entered the house of Arif living in Navinagri in Vadu. They beat Arif and that irked the other youths of his community and they retaliate which heated up the matter.
The family of the girl reached Vadu police to register a complaint but they accused them for not taking their complaint and create ruckus there. The members then started reciting Hanuman Chalisa and Ram Dhun in front of the police station. Top police officials also reached the spot to make sure the situation is under control.
However the villagers anger further increased as they accused the police for not taking the complaint and they called for a total bandh on Thursday. The markets were closed and the villagers reach the police station in form of a rally and request the police to register the complaint and arrested the accused instantly. The police register the complaint from both sides and arrested one of accused before the matter went out of their hands. The police registered the offence under POSCO against the three and send the arrested one to Padra police station.
Father of the girl in his complaint accused the three Arif Kadiwala, Hamid Chauhan and Tofiq Chauhan for eve teasing her daughter for quite some time. On Wednesday Arif Kadiwala hold the hand of her daughter when she was returning home from the school and eve teased. Police booked the trio under Posco and investigating.
From the youth side Chandbibi Hasan Umar Ghanchi in her complaint said Sanjeev Patel, Hitesh Patel, Rajiv Patel, Manu Patel along with 6 to seven persons entered her house and ransack. They said her son troubles them and also threaten her for life. Vadu police register the complaint and further investigating.
