Two firing incidents in Vadodara

Two firing incidents in Vadodara city late on Friday night shook the city as it happened in the space of half n hour. In the first a BJP Yuva Morcha member had a close shave after was fired on by alleged bottleger. He saved himself after hid himself behind a car. In the second Ahmedabad Kalupur police fired on alleged kidnappers after they kidnapped two gold and silver workers from Ahmedabad. Police is investigating both the cases.

Friday night in Vadodara around 2am a bottleger named Mukesh Mitra fired three rounds on Kaushal Dave BJP Yuva Morcha member who was returning home from a marriage function. Dave who was also involved in bogus degree scam earlier had a close escape after he hide behind the car. He was returning back home from Waghodia Road from a Garda function organised at a marriage function at Suryanagar Garba ground.

Also after half n hour 2.30am at New VIP road Kalupur police fired two rounds on the kidnappers who kidnapped two gold and silver workers from Ahmedabad. One of the kidnappers was injured in the firing and another one injured after a fight with the police. Both of them are taking treatment at the SSG hospital Vadodara.

As per the information kaushal Dave residing in 204 Parishram Flat on Waghodia Road was to go for his marriage on 3rd December with Dr. Aeya Patel at Bhadam. He was to left for his marriage of Saturday afternoon but before that the incident happened on the previous night. On 2nd December night there was a garba night organised at the Suryanagar garba ground.

However at around 2am after finishing the garba programme Kaushal Dave was heading for home along with his friends. During that time suddenly near Kalpana Nagar society bottleger Mukesh Mishra reached in a car and fired three rounds from his revolver threatened to kill him. However spotting the bottleger Dave and his friends hide behind the car which saved their lives. The alleged attackers fled from the crime scene after the attack. Panigate police reached the spot and and tried to know the reason for firing and investigating further.

It was noted that years earlier in 2008 a bogus degree scam was unearthed by the police at Alkapuri Concord building and Kaushal Dave was also arrested by the police. Similarly recently a political leader name was also out of procuring bogus degree from the same institute and there also Kaushal Dave nam was also came out.

When police are trying to find out the exact reason for firing on the BJP member another firing incident in a space of half and hour make them rushed there. After Waghodia Road in a space of half n hour another firing incident happened at New VIP road where a accused named Krunal Maachi and his associates reached Vadodara after kidnapped two gold and silver workers Sadul and Binny from Ahmedabad.

Ahmedabad Kalupur police after getting the information about the alleged kidnappers pass through at 2am from New Vip road in Vadodara and kept a watch near Kalpana Nagar society.

During that time the kidnappers along with the two workers passed through from the area on three motorcycles. Police tried to stop the motorcycles on suspicion but they didn’t stop and police followed them and forced two of them to stop. During that time the police and kidnappers are engaged in fight where the main accused Krunal Maachi tried to escape from there and police fired two rounds on him. The bullet hit his leg and the police rushed to him and quickly take him to the SSG hospital for treatment. The another accused was also taken to hospital after injured during the clashed with the police.

Last Friday night with two firing incidents in a space of half n hour at different places shook the city. Top police officials reached both the spots and further investigating the matters.
