District administration issue important guidelines related to cyclone to industries and people

By the order of Vadodara Collector Shalini Agarwal, two Deputy Collector level officers have been appointed at the district level control room to coordinate all kinds of action regarding the cyclone heading towards the state of Gujarat. They will be on duty in the district control room.

District Supply Officer S.D. Goklani and Deputy Collector R.P. Joshi will be on duty from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and will coordinate and monitor the work related to cyclone in all matters in the district and talukas.

The District Collector has instructed to keep the control rooms in all the talukas of the district continuously running and monitor the situation as part of the precaution and vigilance against the cyclone.

District Collector Shalini Agarwal also called on the representatives of the industrial societies of Vadodara through video conferencing to take all the necessary precautionary measures in the industrial areas.

As per the instructions of the Chief District Health Officer, the health teams visited government and private hospitals, Covid Care Center and DCHC in the district to check the availability of power back-up. This action has been taken as per the instructions of the District Collector for cyclone Vigilance.
