Truck killed a couple and child near Jambuva on Vadodara city bypass highway

A truck driver near Jambua on the Vadodara city bypass highway killed a couple riding a bike this afternoon on Tuesday. The couple and a child on the spot. The three injured children were shifted to Sayaji Hospital for treatment.

The area comes under the jurisdiction of Makarpura police station and is known as accidents prone zone. On Tuesday once again a couple and a child lost their lives after knocked down by a truck in afternoon time. Nazir Bhalawat, a resident of Muzar village, and his wife were on their way to their village from Goriyad village after attending a function. They were on a motorcycle with their four children when a truck driver hit their bike, killing Nazir Bhalawat, his wife and a 3-year-old child on the spot. While three children were seriously injured.

The truck driver ran away from the spot and left the truck nearby Guru Nanak Hotel near Varnama. Both the truck driver as well as the cleaner fled from the spot. Police arrived at the scene, seized the truck that caused the accident and moved the bodies for postmortem. Whereas the injured three children were shifted to the city’s Sayaji Hospital via 108 ambulances for treatment.
