Truck gutted in fire after touching the overhead high tension wire in Vadodara

Driver jumped in time from the burning truck

A truck driver had a close shave in Vadodara after the truck he drove came in contact with the high tension wire passing over a bridge. The incident happened at Gotri area where the truck totally gutted in the fire after came in contact with the wire.

The dumper was passing from Rajesh Tower road when it came in contact with the overhead passing high tension wire. There was a thud like sound and the truck suddenly caught fire after the contact. However the driver jumped from the truck in time and saved himself.

The incident shocked many as there is not overbridge there and the truck came in contact with the wire on the road. Fire brigade reached the spot and doused the fire but the truck was completely gutted in the incident.
