Transport ministers shows displeasure to mismanagement

Transport ministers from other states came to the city show their displeasure with the mismanagement at the iconic bus terminal. They all came here to attend the Vadodara Transport development council conference of transport ministers which is organised for the first time outside Delhi.

The ministers moved across the city inside the GSRTC run Volvo buses and visit the RTO first. Later they reached the new bus terminal and feel the facilities provided to the passengers. They then reach the conference area at the third floor where the Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari was supposed to address the media persons.

However there was total chaos at the venue and due to the mismanagement there the state ministers left the venue. Nitin Gadkari was also running late and as a result all of them left the terminal in the waiting Volvo buses. Some of the ministers also showed their anger towards the mismanagement.“There was no arrangement for the state ministers and officers visit there at the terminal. No minister from the host state, no transport commissioner or any senior officer from the ministry remains present there at the venue to guide or update us with the happenings. The visit here at the terminal was also not in our schedule and there was total chaos here,” said H.M. Revanna Transport Minister Karnataka.
