    Jawan admitted in hospital Police detained the rider

    The clash between people and traffic police continues in Vadodara as on Tuesday a bike rider dragged a on duty traffic police jawan after he tried to stop him for not wearing helmet. The injured jawan was shifted to SSG with injuries on hip and knees. The accused youth and his bike was detained for further investigation in the matter.

    Vadodara traffic police is already implementing the new revised rules strictly and collect fines from the violaters. However people are still not following it and clashed with the on duty jawans at different places.

    One such incident happened near Narahari circle where traffic jawan Mukesh Rathwa tried to stop one bike rider for not wearing helmet. However to save himself the rider named Rikin Soni dragged the jawan while tried to fled from there. The jawan received injuries after dragged for nearly 25 feet and taken to hospital for treatment.

    ACP Amita Vanani also reached the hospital after the message and get details of the incident. Giving details she said the rider was passing without wearing helmet and the police jawan Mukesh Rathwa tried to stop him. However he didn’t stop and dragged the jawan resulting in injuries to his hip and knees. He is under treatment at the SSG hospital and Sayajigunj police detained the youth along with his bike for investigation.

    On Monday one Tushar Shah also created scene at Kala Ghoda road after his son was caught by the police for not wearing helmet. He sit on the road in protest and disrupt traffic for quite sometime in busy junction. He was later detained by Raopura police.
