Traffic branch of Vadodara city police moves towards digital collection of fines for violations

Jawans on duty at traffic points equipped with 120 POS machines to collect fines

As per the guidelines of the state government, e-governance is being coordinated in all dimensions of Vadodara city police and human operations are being digitized as much as possible.

As part of this, the traffic point jawans have been equipped with point-of-sale (POS) machines to collect fines from the traffic rules violaters.

Vadodara police commissioner Dr. Shamsher Singh, initiated the digitization initiative by accepting the settlement fee through this machine. 120 such simple and handy machines will now be used by the traffic branch to collect fines which will increase the ease of paying and accepting fines.

The settlement amount is now paid through ATM card, credit card, UPI, QR code, Bhim App options. can be filled online and instantly. Relevant employees of SBI gave training to operate these machines.
