Officer on Special Duty Dr. Vinod Rao had meeting at SSG Hospital in Vadodara with all Nodal Officers and reviewed the situation. He put focus on increasing the beds in view of the present inflow of patients.

He said, against increased capacity of 650 Beds, they have 552 admitted patients. Against capacity of 250 ICU beds, about 100 Beds are Vacant and 46 ventilators are available against 170 Ventilators.

They have decided to convert B1 and B2 Wards in New Surgical Building for COVID. About 50 beds will be ready tonight on Tuesday and another 50 beds by tomorrow night. This will increase total capacity in SSG Hospital to 750 beds, and most of them will be with piped Oxygen facility,” added Dr. Rao.
