Thursday become an auspicious day for covid department of Sayaji Hospital

12 patients discharged from the centre on single day

Thursday is considered the auspicious day in Indian tradition and the same happens for Sayaji Hospital’s covid treatment facility. 12 patients under treatment at the center get discharged on a single day after defeating the deadly virus.

Administrative Nodal Officer Dr. O.B. Belim said they are very happy to have declared 12 patients free of the disease at once and are satisfied that the government and their efforts have paid off. All the patients left with a very good impression.

The Covid treatment team here has been working day and night since March almost without any worries like festivals, family occasions, holidays. The whole team is encouraged by the event as doctors, nursing staff and team are all working with coordination and dedication.

What is special is that all these patients were undergoing treatment on the 5th floor. The discharged includes 5 women and 7 men. Among them is a very young patient, who was also suffering from other diseases related to blood, also get well from the corona due to careful treatment.
