Police began investigation to jab the accused
The robbery took place in a field in front of Gitanjali School on Latipura Road in Padra. Taking advantage of the woman’s loneliness, the robbers threatened the woman with a knife like weapon and robbed her of Rs. 88500. Police began investigation in the matter with the help of dog squad and other technical sources.
Hemaben Chetanbhai Patel, who lives on a farm opposite Gitanjanli School on Latipura Road in Padra, was alone in her house on the farm in the evening and the other members of the household were out for work. Three unknown persons took advantage of her loneliness and entered the house. Before she understand anything they threatened her with a knife like weapon and robbed with jewellery and cash kept inside the vault worth 88,500. They later fled from the spot.
The incident happened when all the members of the household were out for some work purpose when the incident happened. Hemlata Patel was alone at home and went to the toilet, when she heard about the sound of the vault opening by robbers.
She thought her brother in law would have opened and she came out from the toilet and washing her hands. Suddenly one of the accused grabbed her hair from behind and put a knife like weapon on her neck and threatened to kill her in hindi. The other two other joined him and they fled from there with the cash and jewellery after locked the woman inside the room.
The frightened woman put her hand on the front door, opened the stopper and called her brother in law. They then informed the police about all the incident.
Top police officials along with LCB, SOG and dog squad reached the spot and registered the case after the complaint by the victim. The team began investigation to nab the three accused.
