It is a proud moment for Baroda as three TTAB Officials are nominated as Technical Assistant for the first Indian Professional Table Tennis League.
Kalpesh Thakkar, an international umpire & Hon. Secretary of Table Tennis Association of Baroda (TTAB), Jityang S. Bhatt, an international umpire & Hon. Treasurer and Sunil Sharma of TTAB are nominated by the 11Even Sports as Technical Official for the event.
The 11Even Sports Private Ltd. (ESPL), a Mumbai based Indian sport company especially interested to promote and develop the game of Table Tennis in India. The company come forward with the new concept of professional league championships under the banner of “ULTIMATE TABLE TENNIS LEAGUE-2017” which is supported by the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI).
“ULTIMATE TABLE TENNIS” (UTT) is a unique table tennis mix format league being organized for the first time in India. It will have six teams, each team will have a mix of International, National Players and Coaches. In all 24 Top International & 24 Top National players (men & women), 6 International Coaches & 6 National Coaches will be part of UTT.
This table tennis extravaganza will be held in 3 cities – 1) Chennai from 13th to 20th July 2017 2) Delhi from 21st to 25th July 2017 and 3) Mumbai from 26nd to 30th July 2017.
