Three labourers got injured after the scaffolding broke down in Vadodara

Incident happened during the Solar Panels fitting work on Akota Dandia bazaar bridge

Three labourers were injured after the scaffolding broke down in Vadodara during the Solar Panels fitting work on Akota Dandia bazaar bridge. The injured are shifted to nearby medical facility for treatment.

As per details the work for solar panel fitting on the bridge is going on for since long period and on Monday the labourers are continuing their work on the scaffolding. Nearly 22 labourers are working on it without any safety measures at the height of around 50 foot above the ground.

Suddenly the scaffolding broke down and the labourers came crashed in on the ground and some of them hanged on to the railing. Fire brigade was informed and they rescued the labourers and send the injured to the hospital.

It was a saving grace for the people as one side of the road was closed for vehicular traffic where the work is carried away. The negligence of the contractor came to light in the whole incident.
