    Steals items worth Rs 1.18 lakh from the house

    Unidentified thieves targeted a house of a sleeping family in Navinagari of Sayajipura village situated on Ajwa Road in Vadodara city.

     They stole a total of Rs 1.18 lakh including gold and silver jewelery along with cash and fled. A complaint was registered with Bapod police station in this regard.

    Nilamben Vasava, a resident of Navinagri in Sayajipura village is doing housework. The family fell asleep last night as per the routine and were shocked to see the door of house opened after they wake up in the morning.

    The items inside the cupboard were scattered and after searching they found the gold and silver jewellery along with cash were found to have been stolen.

    During the search, gold earrings, gold chain, silver bracelet, gold rings, silver mangalsutra and 20,000 cash worth a total of Rs 1.18 lakh was stolen.  Bapod police has registered a case of theft in this regard and started a thorough investigation.
