    Whole incident captured on CCTV

    There has been a outcry in Manjalpur area about stealing of drainage lids for quite some time. It proves dangerous for the vehicles riders as without the lids it’s risky for everyone.

    In one such incident on Tuesday two thieves were captured in a cctv camera while they steal a drainage lid from the road.

    In Manjalpur area, people have complained about the theft of drainage covers. Local councillor and former deputy mayor Chirag Zaveri had earlier raised the matter in the VMC general body meeting and also sought a police complaint.

     Once again drivers and pedestrians had to face a lot of trouble as four lids were again stolen from Shivam Society as well as in the surrounding areas.

    However, this time the thieves were captured in one of the CCTV where there clearly seen stealing one of the lids and loaded on their three wheel rickshaw. The councilor lodged a police complaint and demand action in the matter.
