Theresa May: Set to become UK’s new Prime Minister

Recently David Cameron had decided to resign after Britain voted to leave the European Union (EU).

Home secretary Theresa May on Wednesday will become the second female Prime Minister of United Kingdom. Andrea Leadsom was in the race for PM of UK after current PM David Cameron announced that he will submit his resignation on Wednesday.

David Cameron welcomed Theresa May to take charge of the country’s highest post and he further said he will attend a Parliament session before handling over his resignation to the queen.

Margaret Thatcher was the first female to become the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
