16 winners were presented with India’s first 3D printed trophy designed by Ayaz Basrai and 3 winners were presented with a special marble trophy from CMC.

The sixth edition of TRENDS EXCELLENCE AWARDS FOR ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN was a night to remember for interior designers, architects and the industry experts. India's most sought-after design awards hosted by Home & Design TRENDS magazine and presented by Classic Marble Company was held at Dome @NSCI, Worli. The awards recognized creativity, innovation, originality and inspiring practices in the field of Indian architecture, interiors and design. 16 deserving winners were presented with the symbol of creativity; India’s first 3D printed trophy designed by renowned designer Ayaz Basrai of The Busride Design Studio and three winners were felicitated with a special marble trophy from CMC.

The annual awards property invited entries across four main categories of Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, and Visual Design with multiple sub-categories under each. The winners were adjudged by a stellar jury panel comprising interior designer and architects such as Hemant Purohit, Kayzad Shroff, Rajeev Thakker, Rajiv Parekh, Maria Leon and Smita Khanna. Prominent names from the design fraternity, like Alan Abraham, Sonal Sancheti, Rahul Gore, Hardik Gandhi and Aakif Habib attended the event. The three marble trophies were presented to:

  • Matra Architects - Architecture Residential
  • MOAD - Architecture Residential
  • MOAD - Best practice of the year

New creative design practices, originality and outstanding concepts formed the core of the judging criteria for the 3000+ entries received this year.
