Zobox, the renewed mobile startup is all set to enter the smart TV market with its brand new product ZoTV. With this the company expands its product portfolio eyeing to tap Tier II and Tier III cities in India. The smart TV will be available on their D2C platform and via their offline channel partners spread across the country.
Zobox already has a good presence in the market with its renewed mobile handsets. The company recently announced opening up over 2,000 retail stores across the country. The renewed mobile handsets have gained 0.05% market share and the company is looking to increase its share to 20% in the next coming years. Zobox has so far recycled 5,000 mobile phones and is determined to increase the numbers. Sustainability is the core of its business and the company is optimistic of recycling over 50,000 handsets in the next two years.
With ZoTV the electronic startup wants to cater to the growing demands of customers in Tier II and Tier III cities. They are coming up with affordable smart TVs that will offer all the features that enhance viewing and enable internet aided interface. The product will be available on Zobox D2C platform and retail stories pan India. 32 Inches smart tv will be available by 10th September in the offline stores.
Founder Neeraj Chopra said, " As a brand, we are quite excited to launch. We are now entering into the smart tv section and also offering a wide range of options that will help customers to choose the better. People are forced to be inside homes in lockdown and that has caused the surge in prices. Currently, we are going to offer two TVs from 32 inch and 40 inch."
The product will be sold through the offline partners and through our ecommerce platform. Delhi based startup further reveals that the competitive pricing and India has witnessed more than 55% growth in the smart tv segment in the first quarter of the year. Currently, Zobox has a mission to provide smart tv at a highly aggressive pricing pattern that will help people to smart purchase. With this new launch, the electronic startup aims to make entertainment available across all Indian households, by offering the best in-class viewing.
