When Facebook announced its collaboration with RayBan on smart glasses, many of us assumed the product would be available in India as well. However, this has not yet occurred. Nonetheless, Titan Eye+, the premier eyewear company, now offers smart eyewear. The Titan EyeX is the company's first smart eyewear, and it has a variety of capabilities such as audio support, fitness monitoring, and other functions. The smart glasses have Bluetooth connectivity, making it simple to sync them with your smartphone.

Talking about smart eyewear, Saumen Bhaumik, CEO Eyewear Division, Titan Company Limited said, "Titan EyeX is an innovative product that combines our experience in eyecare of over a decade with new-age technology. Broadly, two core values - Expertise and Empathy - drive everything that we do including product innovation. And, Titan EyeX is no exception. It is not just a hard-working feature-loaded tech product but also a stylish, comfortable, and light-weight eyewear. With Qualcomm-enabled high-quality audio, pedometer, touch control, and compatibility with a wide variety of lenses, it is an absolute must-have!"

Titan EyeX: How much does it cost and where can you get it?

If you think smart glasses are always pricey, you're mistaken. In India, the Titan Eye X has been offered at a low price of Rs 9999. It's only available in one colour: Midnight Black. The smart glasses are available in Titan Eye+ stores and on Titan Eye+'s official website. They haven't yet made it to the e-commerce sites.

Titan EyeX: Features and Specifications

When you first hear about smart glasses, the first thing that comes to mind is that they will have a camera built into them. The Titan EyeX does not have a camera, unlike the Facebook-RayBan glasses and the Snapchat smart glasses. So, if the camera is the only thing you care about, don't be too disappointed. This is mainly due to the fact that the other products mentioned above are significantly more expensive than Titan EyeX.

The Titan EyeX is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0, True-wireless (TWS), open ear speakers, and CVC (Clear Voice Capture) technology. With dynamic volume control, the CVC provides excellent voice quality by adjusting the volume of audio output based on the environment. Because the open ear speakers don't block or cover your ears, you can still hear and see what's going on around you while listening to music. Both the left and right temples of the EyeX have touch controls. Using the touch controls, you can reject recipe calls or adjust the music. The smart glasses can also keep track of your fitness activities and provide voice-activated Eye care alerts. It can be used in conjunction with the Titan app, which is available for iOS and Android.

The Titan EyeX is sweat and water resistant, and it may be worn as sunglasses, computer glasses, or power glasses.
