Microsoft to add ChatGPT to Azure cloud services soon
New Update

Microsoft will soon be adding ChatGPT – OpenAI’s intelligent chatbot that has generated much discourse over its dangers and benefits to its app development suite Azure OpenAI Service.

The tech giant announced the general availability of Azure OpenAI Service, which lets clients build apps with the help of OpenAI’s projects. They include GPT-3.5 the predecessor of ChatGPT and image generator DALL-E 2.

In a statement, Azure said it’s the only cloud service provider that currently offers access to AI supercomputers with scale-up and scale-out capabilities.

The development comes after Microsoft was reportedly looking to write a US$10 billion check for OpenAI, which would value the ChatGPT creator at roughly US$29 billion.
