Jio Network Issue : Millions of users face network outage

Jio users across India faces network issues. On Spetember 17, many users couldn’t use social media platforms, due to network issues. As reported by Down Detector, there were 10,367 reports of network error by Jio users. the incident took place at 12.18 pm on September 17, 2024.

According to some X (previously Twitter), users addressed to Jio complaining that both Jio SIM and Jio Fiber users are facing some network issue.

The users were mostly Mumbai based and said that they have been facing this for over an hour.

The post was made as an inquiry about the root cause of the issue and if there are any updates about resolving them.

In addition to this , the detector highlighted that about 68 per cent of users reported ‘No Signal.’

On the other hand about 18 per cent of users reported mobile internet problems. Also 14 per cent shared that they faced Jio Fibre-related issues.

According to some rumors, the incident took place due to fire incident at the IDC data centre.

However, no the telecom giant did not make any official announcement. Affected users said that other networks such as Vodafone Idea, BSNL and Airtel are functioning normally.
