Google officially rolls out Android 15, only for Pixel phones for now
New Update

Google has finally started rolling out Android 15. However, it is limited to Pixel devices. If you have a Pixel phone, then these updates include security features that help keep your sensitive health, financial and personal information protected from theft and fraud.

According to Google, the new Theft Detection Lock uses AI to help keep your data safe.

If your phone senses someone has snatched it and is trying to run, bike or drive away, it will automatically lock your device.

Furthermore, you can also use Remote Lock to quickly lock your device from any device using your phone number and a simple security check. These features are now available for most Android 10+ devices.

Android 15 also brings additional protections that prevent thieves from guessing your passwords and accessing sensitive information.

With Android 15, Google is giving users a a separate private space to organise sensitive apps, like social, dating or banking apps. When private space is locked, apps remain virtually invisible to others and are hidden from your apps list, recent apps view, notifications and settings.
