New Update

Google Chrome is getting a slew of new features that will make online shopping more enjoyable. Users may now use the browser to keep track of the things they've been eyeing. Google Chrome will now notify users when the prices of the things they seek have dropped. Users in the United States are now able to use the feature. Only Android users will be able to use the functionality. The capability will be available to iOS users in the coming weeks, according to Google.

The new "Track Prices" tool will notify consumers when the price of a product they want reduces. Users will no longer need to visit the websites of the products they are interested in to see if the price has been reduced. Google Chrome will display the most recent price of an item in your open tabs grid, allowing you to quickly see whether and when the price has reduced. For example, if you search for iPhone 12 on your browser, it will return the most recent price for the item. If you already accessed an Amazon or Flipkart link, the new price of the iPhone 12 will be displayed in the tab section. Multiple goods can be displayed in the tab section of Chrome.

Aside from that, Google is introducing the ability to search using a screenshot taken from the address bar. "If something catches your eye while you're out window shopping, you can now search for your surroundings with Google Lens in Chrome for Android. From the address bar, tap the Lens icon and start searching with your camera," Google said in a blog post. You'll be able to use Lens while browsing in Chrome on your desktop as well. If you come across a product and want to learn more about it, right-click it and choose "Search photos with Google Lens."

Google Chrome will also assist you in creating unique, safe passwords and save your login information for future visits to the shopping website to optimise your shopping experience. This would eliminate the need for you to remember and set up account data for each shopping website you visit. Google will also make it simple for you to complete your transaction by saving your address and payment information with Autofill. Chrome can fill in your billing and shipping information for you. Chrome will also ask if you want to save the information you type into a new form.
