Rebranding Twitter as X is not the only thing in store for millions of users of the platform.
Elon Musk has chimed into the ongoing debate over light vs. dark mode and it seems that Twitter will soon take on the dark mode.
In response to a user who asked if it would be a black tick or blue tick going forward, the technocrat said that the platform will soon have only dark mode.
Not only this, he said that dark mode was a better option in many ways.
Some of the users even asked Musk to retain the light mode as an option even if the platform switches to dark mode permanently.
The new dark mode seems to be aligning with the rebranded logo and its design language.
While this may come as good news for all those who prefer everything in dark mode, many may dislike it.
As of now, Twitter offers different backgrounds such as Dim with dark blue and gray options, a light mode, and a lights out mode that is full black.
