New Update

According to Bloomberg's tech expert, Mark Gurman, Apple is gearing up for a significant product announcement at the end of this month, with expectations set for the 30th or 31st.

The company's lineup of announcements is rumoured to include a refresh of the 24-inch iMac and the possible introduction of multiple new MacBook Pro models.

Apple enthusiasts can anticipate updates to the 24-inch iMac, initially introduced in the spring of 2021, which featured a revamped design and the M1 chip.

It's unclear whether the new iMac will incorporate the M3 generation or opt for M2 chips.

Either way, this update is likely to bring significant improvements to the iMac line.

In addition to the imminent updates, Apple is also working on a higher-end iMac featuring a spacious 32-inch display.

However, this model isn't scheduled to launch until late 2024 or 2025, indicating Apple's commitment to a diverse range of options within its iMac lineup.

The prospect of updates to the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models might raise eyebrows, especially so soon after the release of the M2 generation in January.

Although this seems atypical, it's not entirely unprecedented in Apple's product release history.

The company, while surprised by this development, is working diligently to catch up. Senior Apple executives, including Craig Federighi, John Giannandrea, and Eddy Cue, are spearheading the integration of AI-powered features into Apple's products and services.

Apple's AI efforts will soon manifest in various AI features in iOS 18, including smarter reply suggestions in Messages.

Apple is also looking to enhance the developer experience through AI-enhanced features in Xcode, potentially offering advanced code completion similar to what GitHub Copilot provides.

Additionally, the company is exploring ways to streamline its internal AppleCare tools with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
