    NDRF rescued 2 persons trapped in water at Chandod

    Human habitation is there at Bhatha area between Mahi river near Dabka.  where human habitation. As part of vigilance regarding the water being released into the Mahi river, under the guidance of Mamlatdar, the taluka administration and police have carried out a joint operation and evacuated 40 residents of Dabka Bhatha to a safe place.

    Out of 40, 25 people have been shifted to Dabka while 15 people have gone to get shelter at their relatives place in Gambhira village.

    While at Chandod NDRF team has rescued two persons trapped inside the water. Both rescued are mother son duo. Tadvi Ghanshyambhai Ambalal, 45, and Savitaben Ambalal, 65, of Chandod collect garbage and earn their living.

    Both of them were mistakenly trapped in the water while going to the low-lying area. A team of NDRF has been deployed for rescue and relief and launched a rescue operation for them. The team carefully rescued and taken to safety. Sevabhavi Rajeshbhai Rabari gave shelter to both. Resident Additional Collector has applauded all involved in this life saving operation in Padra and Chandod.
