Symbolic fast have been started outside the court complex in Vadodara by the Bar association with a demand to start the court closed for the last nine months due to Corona. They said, if physical courts are not started by 30th then from February 1, the lawyers will break the civil law and start the physical court proceedings.

Hasmukhbhai Bhatt, president of the Bar Association, said the court was closed due to the corona that started in March. The situation of the lawyers has become dire as the courts have been closed for the last nine months. It is their demand and feeling that court proceedings should be started as soon as possible.

He further said that Corona is slowly coming under control and every fields are slowly starting one by one. Then there is their demand for permission to operate physically in court.

With this demand, symbolic fasts have been started at the gate outside the court complex in Vadodara on Wednesday. Lawyers are joining the symbolic fast with a demand to start the court soon.

They said the condition of the lawyers has worsened due to the closure of the court for the last nine months. If permission is not given to start a physical court by the 30th, then from February 1, all the lawyers will start the physical court proceedings by violating the civil law.

A large number of lawyers joined the symbolic fast near the gate outside the court complex today. Police arrangements were made to prevent any untoward incident during the symbolic fast. There were demonstrations and slogans by lawyers demanding the start of a physical court.
