Syed Modi Intl Badminton: Kidambi Srikanth & Sourabh Verma made it to quarterfinals

In Badminton, Kidambi Srikanth and Sourabh Verma advanced to the quarterfinals in Syed Modi International Badminton tournament in Lucknow.

Srikanth will next square off against seventh seed Son Wan Ho of Korea while Sourabh will clash with Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn.

In women’s singles, Shruti Mundada and Rituparna Das entered the quarterfinals with straight game wins. Young women’s pair of Simran Singhi and Ritika Thaker also progressed to the final eight.

Kuhoo Garg and Anoushka Parikh also advanced to the next round.
