Swine Flu decorations in Ganesh pandals in Vadodara

As the Swine Flu scare still gripping the Vadodara city the ongoing Ganesha festival is spreading the word to the public about the prevention from the deadly disease. Various pandals in the city decorated the interiors with messages of spreading awarness about Swine Flu to the visitors.

In Suryanagar at Waghodia road one of the Ganesh mandals placed a board having messages and slogans regarding Swine Flu. The decoration is placed near the Ganesha idol.The artist Keval Kahar said that the board is special in the sense that the devotees look the Ganesha and the board at one time. The board displays about the causes, symptoms, precautions about the disease. The stage is 18 foot in height, 25 foot long a d 22 foot wide.In Danteshwar also a similar decoration of Swine Flu related theme is inside at a Ganesh Pandal. In SSG hospital the Ganesh Pandal inside a decoration is there which shows that Swine Flu treatment is available inside the hospital. The pandal was also visited by the Mayor and MP of Vadodara. A cutout of CM Vijay Rupani was also put there inside the pandal.
