Minister of Railways, Suresh Prabhu will flag of two new trains Antyodaya Express and Humsafar Express on 13 th August 2017through video link from Mumbai. On this occasion he will also Inaugurate lift on platform no. 10 at Borivali sation, Dedicate to the Nation Wi-Fi facility at Bhayandar, Vasai Road and Virar stations, Dedicate rail sections after Doubling with Electrification between Amalner –Hol and Chinchpada-Nandurbar through video conferencing.

The Antyodaya Express is a fully unreserved train and will run between Bandra(T) and Gorakhpur stations. It has been designed with special features for the benefit of passengers more comfortable journey, cushioned luggage racks, additional hand hold in doorway area, vestibuled ends for inter coach movement of passengers and service staff, water purifiers, enhanced number of mobile charging points, bio- toilets, fire extinguishers and anti-graffiti measures have been adopted for the interior and exterior of the train.

Train No 22921 Bandra (T)-Gorakhpur Weekly Antyodaya Express will depart from Bandra (T) every Sunday at 5.10 hrs to reach Gorakhpur the next day at 17.35 hrs. Similarly, in the return direction Train No 22922 Gorakhpur-Bandra (T) Weekly Antyodaya Express will depart from Gorakhpur every Tuesday at 3.15 hrs to arrive Bandra (T) next day at 16.15 hrs.

The inaugural run of Train No 02921 will be on Sunday, 13 th August 2017 from Bandra (T) and the train will reach Gorakhpur on Tuesday. Similarly, in the return direction Train No 02922 will depart Gorakhpur on Tuesday, 15 th August 2017 at 10.00 hrs to reach Bandra (T) the next day at 23.30 hrs. The regular service of Train No 22921 Ex Bandra (T) will be from 20 th August 2017 and of Train No 22922 Ex Gorakhpur from 22 nd August 2017. The train comprises of sixteen General coaches.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Bharatpur, Mathura Jn, Kasganj, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda and Naugarh in both directions.

Humsafar Express which will run between Bandra (T) and Patna, is a fully Air Conditioned train having 3 Tier coaches with GPS based Passenger information display system. It also has Passenger Announcement System, Fire and Smoke detection and suppression system, CCTVs, Comfortable seats, Mobile and laptop charging points and Integrated Braille display. The train adorns an improved aesthetics with new interior and exterior colour scheme presenting a futuristic look.

Train No 22913 Bandra (T)-Patna Weekly Humsafar Express will depart from Bandra (T) every Sunday at 12.55 hrs to reach Patna the next day at 22.15 hrs. Similarly, in the return direction Train No 22914 Patna – Bandra (T) Weekly Humsafar Express will depart from Patna everyTuesday at 23.10 hrs to arrive Bandra (T) on Thursday at 7.35 hrs.

The inaugural run of Train No 02913 will be on Sunday, 13 th August 2017 from Bandra (T) and the train will reach Patna on Tuesday. The regular service of Train No 22913 Ex Bandra (T) will be from 20 th August 2017 and of Train No 22914 Ex Patna from 15 th August 2017. The train comprises of Sixteen 3-Tier AC coaches.

This train will halt at Vapi, Valsad, Udhna, Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Chheoki and Mughalsarai stations in both directions. These trains will especially facilitate passengers of Mumbai as well as various regions of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

The booking for inaugural run of Train No 02913 will open w.e.f 12 th August 2017 & for regular run of Train No 22913 will open from 13 th August 2017 at all Passenger Reservation Centers and IRCTC website.
