Sumeru Navkar Tirth Covid Care Center in Karjan becomes one such facility where patients get the best treatment and return home with a smile on their face. Here a team of doctors always present there day and night to serve the patients who appreciates all the arrangements at the centre.

Vadodara District Administration and Health System has started a 500 bed Covid Care Center at Sumeru Navkar Tirth, at Dharamshala of the Institute in Karjan. The center has proved to be a boon for Corona patients in the area.

All the necessary medical facilities have been set up here by the district administration. Sumeru Navkar Tirth has today become a service treatment center for patients. Naresh Pandya, Manager, Sumeru Navkar Tirth, says that with the backing of the district administration, a 500-bed covid care center has been started in the institute from September 2020. So far, more than 3,000 Corona patients have recovered from the center and returned home.

He added that necessary facilities have been set up in collaboration with the government, trustees and donors. In addition to treatment, facilities like medicine, two meals a day, tea, snacks, vaporizer, soap, laundry soap, toothpaste are being provided to patients.

Payal Solanki, a community health officer from Simli, says the center is currently treating 350 patients. The center also has a system of 38 oxygen cylinders. Not only that, a permanent system of oxygen will also be set up here soon. She said as many as 15 health warriors, including doctors and paramedics, were treating patients with full sensitivity. Patients are being treated like a relative by a health worker for their vitals, oxygen level and others.

Religious, service-oriented organizations are working hand-in-hand with the government in the difficult situation of Corona. They are cooperating as much as they can towards the society and helping the administration and the government in this hour of crisis which is commendable.
