Because of you we are celebrating Diwali, students sent greetings to Soldiers

Students of Prince Ashokaraje School in Vadodara showed their respect and gratitude to the Indian Army and Traffic Police jawans who are working day and night to ensure that they can celebrate the festivals like Diwali. Hand made cards along with home made sweets were sent to them to wish them Happy Diwali.

Prince Ashokaraje School students on Tuesday spread the message of respecting our soldiers who stand at the borders to protect our country and the people. The students made hand made cards with messages like 'Becoz of you we are celebrating Diwali' and many others for the army men. Students from Nursery to 12th standard made cards and sent it to the soldiers.

"About 1500 students from our school made hand made greeting cards and we handover it to a retired Major in Vadodara who took the responsibility to send it the soldiers. We also handover the cards to the traffic department in Vadodara to show out respect to both. The students wrote many heart felt and emotional messages to the soldiers and traffic jawans as because of their alertness and dedication towards their duty we are able to celebrate diwali," said Dr. Tushar Bhosle Administrator Prince Ashokaraje school.

The students also distribute homemade sweets along with the greeting cards to the soldiers and traffic jawans.
