Students of MSU social work faculty met Dr. Kiran Bedi during their study tour

The students of the Faculty of Social Work ,The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda have organised a 10 days study tour to Puducherry and Chennai to gain a national industry exposure and to equip students with the HR practices that are being followed in the industry and meet eminent personalities.

In the first two days the students visited industries like Hidesign, Hindustan Unilever limited, School of Social Work Puducherry. On the third day of the study tour the students got an opportunity to meet Honourable Lieutenant Governor Dr Kiran Bedi.

The session started with Dr. Bedi sharing about her inspiration which drove her to be there first woman IPS of India. She shared about the nitty gritties of life and shared about the three important things that change a woman's life i.e. money, muscle and mobility.

She expressed that two incidents change a woman's life which are when a woman gets married and when she becomes a mother. She talked about time management and the importance of a career in life. She gave the students a whole new perspective about life per se. The students learnt life lessons from here. Dr. Bedi took an hour for the student interaction out of her busy schedule.
