BCC had organized Annual function for the children of 6 Balwadis (supported by INOX Group) and implemented by BCC on March 24, 2018.

Around 75 Balwadi students performed various programmes under the theme Save Girl Child in Vadodara. The students performed on songs, skit ad drama showcased the message in more effective way.

The programme is the part of the Annual Function organized at the Don Bosco School, Makarpura, where around 75 children of 6 Balwadis participated and performed various programmes. The function was carried out by Baroda Citizens Council ‘Balwadi Project” (supported by lNOX GROUP) taking care of the Nutritional and Educational Inputs of Children.

The theme of the programme was ‘Save the Girl Child’ where children performed on songs like “Mere ghar ayi ek nanhi pari” which states as girl child born in the house followed by song “Rakta Charitra” for which children showed how female feticide should stopped. After that the children performed on “Barbie girl” like they have the freedom, “school chale hum”, “Mardani” and “Aashayein” songs.

There were total of 6 performances where the children of Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram, Satya, Pushpak, Krishna Balwadis gave their performances. Deepak Asher, Director and Group Head (Corporate Finance INOX Group), Nakul Joshi represented the (INOX Group), Sameer Khera (Chairperson BCC), Harleen Chawla (Trustee, BCC), and Priya Jagdale (Executive Director, BCC) were also present at the event.
