Strike continues for the third day by intern doctors in Vadodara

Said will continue the strike till their demands accepted

Intern doctors of Vadodara continued their strike for the third day demanding to increase their stipend as per the other states. They also demanded Rs.1000 per day for working in Corona ward. They said to intensify their protest till their demands accepted by the government.

From Monday intern doctors went on indefinite strike with a demand from government to increase in stipend. The protesting intern doctors demand the government shall increase the stipend from Rs 12,800 to Rs 20,000. They said the other states are giving good stipends and they also demand the same from the government. Further they also demanded Rs.1000 per day for working in Corona ward.

The strike continues for the third day and the doctors are not seems to be in the mood to wrap up and instead said to continue till their demands are not met. They said in coming days other doctors will join them in support of their demands.
