Strict police bandobast on 7th day of Ganesh idols immersion in Vadodara

Vadodara police put strict bandobast in sensitive areas as the city witness triple incidents of 7th day Ganesh visarjan, India Pakistan match and Moharram on Wednesday. The Junigadi Ganesh will be immersed on the 7th day with a procession taken out in the hyper sensitive Bhadra Kacheri area.

Every year police put strict security arrangements in sensitive areas during Ganeshotsav and immerssion starting from the seventh day of the festival. This year the day see three events of Junigadi Ganesh immersion, Indo Pak match at Asia cup and Moharram celebration lined up at one time and police kept strict bandobast to avoid any untoward incident.

The Junigadi ganesh will be immersed inside the artificial pond prepared at Navlakhi ground as Sursagar beautification is underway. Proper security arrangements were also kept at the visarjan area to run the immersion process smoothly. Many other mandals and home Ganpati will also be immersed in the 7th day and there a environment of celebration everywhere.

As Indo Pak Asia cup also lined up for the day later in the evening the police also keep an eye on the happenings as the match bring the excitement in the fans and one can expect celebrations at any point of time.
